If you really want to beat that record, how about you start a thread with a significant topic?
Starting another lounge thread won't do any good.

Personally a forum gaming post or something will have a better chance, a random thread doesn't usually go far..

You DO realize that a doing //Thread closed does nothing. Mods just do it so they know who closed the thread and when.

But you can ask staff to close it. You can only close it yourself if you are prime I believe.
