You can kill people much more quickly without a gun. Guns are irrelevant. You can use them to protect or to kill. When it comes down to things such as 9/11, you can't protect yourself with a plane. Guns can be used for many things, and terrorists use other methods that don't require guns that are always more dangerous and fatal.

Keyword "Legally" Why do we even need guns this powerful that can kill that many people... just to "protect" ourselves. Stuff like school shootings/college shootings happen to be from Young-Adults who buy guns legally it isn't just about terrorist attacks. People can sometimes just be crazy, There's been a few case's that people have asked girls to date them or whatever and when they deny it they end up shooting them/ the school.

Getting an automatic or class III weapon is hard to get because you have to get it registered with the government, pay the high pricetag of the weapon, then the long waiting process.
