To inform some people that may not already know this. But Net Neutrality will be ending in 2 days. Starting Monday April 23rd, 2018 Net Neutrality will no longer exist. And your ISP will have free rain on what you can or can't access.

ISPs won't become absolute dickheads, that's for sure. The ISP market isn't that small so if a really popular one decides to become shitty, people will just change to a decent one. If they all become shit there will be a huge opening for an ISP that won't be terrible resulting in customers changing ISPs which will just end up in the ones that turn bad to start losing their income.

It sucks that NN is dying in the US, you won't instantly notice any changes since they'll wait a bit and lull everyone into a false sense of security, and after a while they very slowly start integrating things like paying for fast lanes, but on an insanely micro scale at first, and just slowly ramp it up over time so everyone gets more and more used to it.

The thing is customers will leave ISPs for that shit. New ISPs will establish without these restrictions and they'll be making more money then the money hungry fucks so if ISPs want to keep their customers they won't fuck them over.

Time flies, like fuck! That happened fast!

But I'm ready, got 2 VPS setup 1 out of country 1 in, got a NordVPN account as a backup VPN and got ProtonVPN as a secondary backup.
Net Neutrality aint gunna affect me, I guess I should setup my DDWRT router though for the rest of my family. I wonder what bullshit my ISP has planned, are they legally obligated to inform you of the changes that they make?

Where quite a few people live there is only the option for one ISP, and there aren't too many new startup ISPs out there right now.
Like for me I'm pretty sure my only option is AT&T
