Serious Why Do Ladybugs Smell so bad?[Random]

I Stay in a upstairs so i open my windows and i always get 2-6 ladybugs everyday that is attracted to the lights in my room. Well they are small and innocent but when you squash them they smell so foul and has a sour smell it actually stays on your hand till you scrub them a good few times. lol they smell like raw cabbage or something moldy

Do they really smell?

I barely can smell and taste anything so I can't tell :/

Yes but they don't smell until you kill them which is weird, why can you barely taste/smell anything? i think its happening to be just recently i get bad airflow through my nostrils and one always get stuffed up switching sides and becomes very annoying.

I don't know. The docs aren't sure if it's a physical issue or a psychological one, it's still getting tested
