Server CPU

How many CPU is an gmod server using? I'm using only 2 but i think itsinsufficient.

You mean the CPU cores and the clock? So I mean a server can never have enough power.

Dual core should be enough as the game only uses 2 cpu's.

High Cpu clock is recommended .

gmod only uses 1 cpu core
and 2 gb ram so thats why you should not
buy a dedi unless your a big server like asap

Don't listen to Nexus, I suggest going with a hosting company if you're brand new to the game such as, Crident, Thunderbolt Hosting, Hexane Networks and more. - If you get 70+ players and want to make more servers I do suggest buying a dedicated server such as Zare, Only do this if you're making multiple servers, Its not really neccesary at all though.

I recommend for a 32 player server:

+ 3GHz per core
4GBs of ram
20GB of space
100MBs bandwitdth

I honestly just pay for a provider with 6 cores its less of a worry and can handles stress!

Gmod only use 1 or 2 cpu cores, is old game xd. the cpu servers have low power single cpu
