Should 4chan be shut down?

Why would the government shut down free speech? that sounds dumb.

many have tried. all have failed.

Umm could someone fill me in as to what's the buzz about 4chan?

Why is there a motion to shut it down?

4chan is actually heavily moderated (yes content does slip through) but it's all logged and archived.

You can't actually post anonymous due to most of the TOR networks are banned from 4chan. The real question is, should 8kun (was known as 8chan) be shutdown?

Well there are a lot of dark things in several places. But, I do think if 4chan gets closed it could end up in a deeper part of the web. I think if you feel that way, just stay away.

4chan actually has good moderation. Of course some stuff will be there but itll be filtered.
