Should I buy Sea of Thieves

A friend of mine said the controls were pretty disappointing.

It's a game that you will get bored of very quick, but it is hella fun when you first start. Just do what I did and get free 2 week trial of Xbox Game Pass and get it for free, remember to cancel your subscription before the end of the 2 weeks or they will charge your card for the next month

Honestly, I love this game. And so do my brothers. We all bought it for PC, and we play almost every day of the week! Until the Kracken shows up...

It's a really good game you should buy it, the graphics are cool and the thema is cool aargh the pirates are coming !

personally I think it looks like a crap game and would not give it the time of day, that's just me though.

such a good thread can tell you have put time and effort in to it, very HQ.. good job! It was the boring gameplay that negged me out on the game and cosmetics were not to great in my eyes

Thanks for the positive feedback and yes, the fact that the only content is about cosmetics slows the gameplay a bit down after some time of playing. It's a game that's mostly enjoyable playing with friends together and rather about having fun than about taking it too seriously. Still, it's ofc not a game for everybody, especially not if you don't have friends.

I like games that grip me straight away and are fast paced. Alsogood graphics but a good storyline to, with multiplayer there has to be variety and plenty of it or I just get bored and do not play anymore
