Should I buy games for friends? (Steam)

I don't know if I should buy a multiplayer game (Stick fight: The Game) for a friend. I want to play with them but I rarely get steamcards to spend. I don't know if I should or not.

It's your money friend. If its expensive I usually ask my friends to pay me IRL if im buying them games. You earned the money and you can spend it how you like. However saying what i said if you want to buy it him you do that
