Should I get back into Gmod?

Is there any new game modes or any sort of game mode you guys would recommend to me? I've left gmod for a year now and I want to get back but im not sure I should, any recommendations?

I definitely recommend starwarsrp. Some servers may be cancerous, but some aren't. Another good option would be MilitaryRP. Depends on what you like, really.

If you're creative, find a good mostly vanilla Sandbox server; that is how Gmod is supposed to be played. If you want something a bit more chaotic and dumb, DarkRP is your best bet. But choose a DarkRP server wisely, and beware of the cunty rooftop admins.

Garrys mod is a good game if you have idea on server :p
But I'm not recommended playing in gmod this have shitting optimalization :/

S&Box is coming (hopefully) soon, so gmod in the meantime might get you ready for S&Box :D.

I hope it comes out soon, I'm pretty excited for it.

Gmod can be pretty fun once you find a good server to settle in. RP servers like Star Wars and DarkRP dominate at the moment but if they're not your cup of tea then other gamemodes are still alive like TTT, Breach, Zombie Survival and Sandbox.

With so many servers then chances are you'll find something you like.

The fact that you're asking means you have some interest in the game.

Sure, give it a try again. There's some newish gamemodes out there like SCP containment breach, among a few others.
Just scroll through the workshop and maybe the gmod leaks on these forums. You're bound to find something you like.

I think you should. GMod will die eventually, so you should play it right now before it's dead. You'll regret that you've left it.
