Should I wait to upgrade?

I have an i7 4790k and I want more ram. If I want ddr4 I would need to upgrade to an lga1151 socket and would need alot of new hardware. Any recommendations?

use ebay, you might find some good deals of hardware in there for a good price.

Just chill the fuck out. I'm still using a 5 year old desktop and I can easily handle shit. Just chill out and wait until it dies to buy a new shit

No, don't upgrade you are good for a long time.. Wait when you are going to change your CPU

Honestly, DDR4 RAM isn't worth the amount of upgrades you would need to make. You would also need to find a new motherboard that supports DDR4 RAM with an lga1150 socket.

I would honestly wait until DDR4 or DDR5 (or ddr max ) become more useful, and once your CPU gets worse to the point of unusable.

Also do you have any sort of Video Card that could be bottle necking your performance?

I have a gtx 1080 founders

RAM is expensive now though, but it is so important.
