Supported 4.0.x version is RC7A and above ONLY

Will Support 4.0.x allow me upgrade from 3.4.x version ?.

Not at the moment 4.0.x is fresh and has been built to work only for 4.0.x but we will be working on upgrade between 3.4.x to 4.0.x some stage.

Does Shoutbox support Twitter or any form of feeds ?.

No Shoutbox 4.0.x will not at the moment support any form Twitter feeds or any feeds at moment.

Will Shoutbox stay free ?.

Yes Shoutbox will have free version called Shoutbox Basic this will allow selected functions and settings to work for your Shoutbox but there will be Paid version called Shoutbox Pro this will be adding new functions and will provide support.
