#1 The Shuttle Music Player is an android exclusive music application that costs $1.50. It is the fourth biggest music app ever, only being behind Spotify, Google Play, and Apple Music.
I have personally been using Shuttle + for over 2 years now, so here is my review of the app. Is it worth the money? Or should you just stick to the other free music players?
Alright so before I start off I wanna say that if you just casually listen to music and don't really care about quality, or looks, or hell, if you stream your music. The Shuttle+ is not the app for you. It is mainly for people who download their mp3's by other means than downloading. Also if you have any phone running IOS, then you're also out of luck. Sorry about that.
I also want to say that there is a free version of Shuttle that you can try here. Of course you are missing some features that I personally feel are a must have now, but it's still worth a shot.
I found Shuttle randomly one day and had the extra money lying around, so I said "fuck it" and decided to buy / download it. This was back when i was using Vubey.yt for my main music downloader. So all of my music looked like absolute shit and it was a major pain in the ass to have to re-theme for Google play.
Let me start off with if you close Shuttle while listening to music. The music will still play. This is the only app that I have found that has done this and I absolutely adore it. There have been so many times where I just click "close all" while listening with Youtube Music, or Google Play and having my music just stop. Not with Shuttle. That train keeps on a rollin'.
I can happily say that thanks to Shuttle+, this issue no longer exists. With Shuttle+'s built in ID3 tag editor, it is extremely easy to change things like the Album name, The Artist, Genre, Year, What disk number the song is (to sort full albums), and even the album art. Now I know what you're saying. "But zeeeeenith, When I torrent my music I already get all of that kind of stuff. Well good luck trying to Torrent songs that never fucking SHOW UP (seven lions kms), and if you listen to music from people like Sheepy, Proximity, NCS, whatever. You are gonna want to download them from somewhere like Converto.io (which also has it's ID3 tag editors). But with Shuttle+, you don't need to get off your lazy ass and sit at a computer. You can do everything on your phone. Don't get me started that if you download a song with the artist's name or the album's name but with no album art. Shuttle will search through its massive music database to find a picture that matches it.
You can also edit the theme so the colors and accents can fit to your liking. You are able to switch the colors at any time, and in Shuttle's new beta the theme even changes with the album art to add to the aesthetic. (The new beta also adds the notification colors featured in Android 8.0).
Shuttle also automatically makes playlists like "Most played" where it counts the amount of times you have listened to a specific song. It's not a big deal, but I enjoy knowing how many times I have listened to Divinity, or Shelter.
Also if your music is from a random folder that you torrented, its folder browsing function is perfect. All you have to do is go there once, and Shuttle will recognize any mp3 files located there.
There are also many added features like an Equalizer, so you can listen to music how you like it, with numerous presets for different types of music. You can also look at lyrics if they are embedded, or Shuttle is linked with QuickLyric, so you are able to use them in one app.
Personally, Shuttle+ is my favorite music application for listening to all of my flacs. I love everything about this app, I love its theme, I love the fact that I don't have to worry about closing it. I love how I can easily edit ID3 tags in next to no time. For $1.50, this app is really worth it if you are into music.

Shuttle is more like a music client than a service. It doesn't have a paid service, so this era of music listening is different.
I'm always down to try new things. Appreciate it. PM me if ya really want.
