I decided to boot up the old photoshop and cook up a new signature for myself. I honestly feel like I'm a bit rusty, but I'd like to hear opinions from all of you guys. Also accepting all kinds of criticism.
The "B" in YAIBA makes it look like Y A I IB A, so maybe another font or editing the glyph would help that out. Japanese text feels a bit too small and close to the text, maybe try bumping up the size or finding a bolder styled font for that. For the clouds I would suggest maybe offsetting it a bit so they're not basically lined up along their bottom edge or using two different clouds instead of just having a big and small one that are identical. Also maybe try dimming and adjust the white of the cloud to better match the color of the torii, since I feel the text should pop out more, but the white of the cloud is the densest, brightest part of the entire image. Another option would be to use smoke or mist, since you can control the opacity of that a bit better and layer them to make different levels of wispiness.
Otherwise, I really like the colors you got going for this, I'm a sucker for muted architecture and the petals are a great highlight.
I agree mostly with what the above has told you, but in addition the overall readability is a bit lacking as well. The text itself gets "swallowed" by the surrounding cherry blossoms and it's a bit difficult to make out unless you squint super hard. For something like a forum signature or banner that's a bad thing since you want everything to be easily digestible even at a glance.
I'd recommend even just a small border or stroke around the text to make it a little more obvious, if at all possible. Even just something like the glow you've got in your current signature would go a long way.
