alright bro i have seen so much of your work today and wow, i am honestly amazed. you are so talented!! the concepts are awesome and the execution is amazing. did you create this skulls? how did you make the highlights? also, what font is demons in? i love it

the skulls are pngs i found on the internet (i think, im not sure). My technique to do highlights is basically just different adjustment layers (like exposure) then i make the adjusment layer a clipping mask onto the layer and then invert it so i can draw them in with the pen tool, i also use some overlays to make the light really pop and then for more realism i make the glow from the butterflies and eyes of the skull reflect onto nearby objects! (using adjusment layers again and drawing them in where i think they're needed) 

The font is "Deutsch Gothic" it's on www.dafont.com !

that's so insightful, appreciate a look into your process. i've always had a hard time with artificial colored highlights but your method is definitely worth adding to the arsenal!
