Anyone into snowboarding here? Ive been boarding for about 5 years now and I am quite experienced. Here is a few mountains near me that I like going to:
  • Blue Mountain
  • Montage Mountain
  • Shawnee Mountain
  • Mountain Creek
  • Bear Creek

Here is my board:

http://www.salomon.com/us/product/protoc...cle=375718
It not exact but I will upload my actual board later. That the same brand and what it looks like but mines a bit beat up and looks different. Coulnt find the exact board.

This is what my jacket and snow-pants look like, same brand but also a bit different.

My skill level:
Intermediate, I can handle any trail and do a lot of various rails and jumps but I can not do anything insane like backflips, 360s, anything Olympic level yet haha. Share some funny stories if you got any!

I live right next to 3 different snowboarding / skiing hills and I've been to all three. I'm better at skiing than snowboarding but I've always wanted to be a good snowboarder. However, with my luck, I've almost broken my neck, elbow, ribs, and I almost shattered my kneecap because Im just not meant for snowboarding apparently. It's fun though, and if i had the money for medical bills and the patience to keep going back and getting better i definitely would.

What mountains do you live by? Snowboarding was easy for me to pickup because I used to skateboard a lot when I was younger. I always wanted to try skiing though because it is a lot easier to go very fast and turn easier without loosing too much speed. Which is why eventually I am going to switch over because I am a speed demon lmao.

I've always wanted to snowboard. But I could never find a mountain to go down.

Every mountain near me has a fuck ton of trees.

Also I got no snow this year :/

Powderxx is the name of one of them, can't remember the other two but I think one's Indianxx. They're not super close to my house but within driving distance nonetheless

I've only been snowboarding once before and I loved it, I was decent and hit a few switches off of a box.
I'd love to seriously get into it but frankly have no cash and no idea where to get affordable but good shit. Any advice?
I do skateboard frequently though.
