So Sandbox is dying?

Sandbox has been dead for a while, ive been playing for many years and i can atess that its been dead for long
Just theres a lot that can be added to sandbox but noone plays it so theres no point in adding anything new

Yeah, I've noticed that the majority of the GMOD community are on DarkRP or other RP game modes.
I'd say there is about 40% that play TTT, Prop Hunt, Jailbreak etc.
It's sad to see how a sandbox game has turned into an RP game.

Dead* It has been dead for a long ass time dude, no good servers remain.

I think people play Garry's Mod for the freedom it gives. Sandbox is fun, but only as fun as messing around with lego bricks can be. With the right addons, it can spice things up. However, it lacks a clear end goal, whereas DarkRP and the sort have goals that players can grind or play to. Generally, people like direction so people are more likely to stick to DarkRP for fun.

Solo sandbox will never die, but s&box servers are long dead due to noone ever wanting to put in the money to get cool custom shit

I think so, lots of gamemodes are dying now like flood, so sad

alot of people are going towards darkp since they can do sandbox in singeplayer

Off course is fun to play 1h hour but is not a gamemodeto viciar

No, this is a really cool mode to have fun with friends.
