Sony Vegas or After Effects?

Pretty significant difference there. After Effects is mostly used for special FX etc. While Sony Vegas is mostly for basic video editing. A better comparison would be: Sony Vegas or Adobe Premiere

Adobe Premiere is way better. Go and get it. !!!

AE is more harder than sony vegas pro but AE edits are so cool!!

I use sony vegas. It's easier to find guides or tips.

I prefer After Effects just to put some more extravagant effects, why even there my ability is much bigger than in Sony Vegas. But sony ends up being better at performing cuts, organizing the video and everything ...

i like ae in general. It seems hard at first but after watching a playlist of transitions and things you need to know its easy.
even though sony is easier i just prefer AE

Sony vegas because it has way more options and things to do in my opinion, but in the end it is just a preference .

AE, personally I use the Adobe software because they have the all in one integration with in all their programs. Exporting and everything :D
