Running Spotify on an SSD will use read/write cycles and slowly damage your SSD IMO.
It's worth changing it's cache to a new drive.
It should be visible somewhere within the settings, or you can create a Junction for the folder yourself.

Where do you guys have it installed? I'm just curious because the app is probably writing music on the drive and I'm worried to damage my SSD. Let me know where you have it and thanks for the help.[Image: 1f600.svg]

SSD should be for you're main files/games etc. stuff that are slow and you wish to increase their speed.

There wouldn't really be much of a difference if any difference in quality of music so i'd say just stick to downloading and using it off of a normal HDD. Also. spotify isn't in need of being sped up by the SSD.

you do not need to put that in your ssd since the application does not need so much writing speed, I would put it in HD
