Striper Loading - A Garry's Mod loading screen



Striper Loading is a loading screen developed to fit many if not countless type of themes and servers. With its clean and perhaps simple design, it can produce information effectively using design adapted to the comfort of the eye.

At sight perhaps the code seems terrifying, however all the features in the HTML document is commented to ease the understanding of what does what in order for you to edit it to your liking.

The loading screen contains these features:

• Scrolling background with how many pictures you desire (easy editable)
  
  
• The user connecting will see their information displayed. Information such as SteamID (converted to 32bit), name and avatar will be displayed.
  
  
• The server information such as the map, the gamemode and even the server name is displayed in its separate block.
  
  
• Background music is customizable with a drag and drop
  
  
• Fail safe, in case of wrong installation in the server.cfg. Instructions coming along.
  
  
• Fully commented HTML document
  
  
• Various color themes, drag and drop
  
  
• Background slider is available and is currently set at 4 or less. If you would like to have more backgrounds you can read the instructions in the HTML document and if you do not solve it feel free to contact me personally.
  
  
• Textbox slider, fades between paragraphs, can have how many you would like, instruction included in the HTML document.
  
  
• Striped texture overlay on the middle left box and the background as well!
  
  
• Adaptive sizing of the resolution

Thanks to a friend of mine, Preditor, I am able to with this loading screen offering 4 magnificent backgrounds, posed and edited by him. Special font and the scripts necessary will come along as well.



Requirments:

• You need a webhost
  
  
• Your webhost needs to support PHP
  
  
• A code editor, such as notepad++
  
  
• Very, very basic HTML knowledge, if you need help contact me
  
  
• An API, obtainable here http://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey
