Too many pillows. My wife loves buying them and then realising that it's too soft/hard/high/low, but still keeps them

1 and is enough for me. Having more than 2 will be annoying and you'll have headhache the next day

I have about 2-3 pillows on my bed. Sometimes it can go up to 5.
