Is BR dying or not, because personally I feel like it is has fallen out of favor with the rest of the games.

no it is not, the "br" genre has the most players of any genre out there, it might not be the most talked-about or loved, but its the most mainstream

BR game are just popular cause you can play over and over again id suppose. also the battle passes give you something to play for
