I am using the tabbed menu plugin made by Jesse Labrocca I don't know much CSS so I can't really create a nice style for my tabbed menu I was hoping some of you could help me with this.

I want a grey tabbed menu and when you select a tab it will become the color #279BC7 if anyone can do this for me that would be really cool!

Default tabbed menu:

Code:
.shadetabs{
padding: 3px 0;
margin-left: 0;
margin-top: 1px;
margin-bottom: 0;
font: bold 12px Verdana;
list-style-type: none;
text-align: left; /*set to left, center, or right to align the menu as desired*/
}

.shadetabs li{
display: inline;
margin: 0;
}

.shadetabs li a{
text-decoration: none;
position: relative;
z-index: 1;
padding: 3px 7px;
margin-right: 3px;
border: 1px solid #778;
color: #ffffff;
background: white url(images/thead_bg.gif) top left repeat-x;
}

.shadetabs li a:hover{
text-decoration: underline;
}

.shadetabs li a.selected{ /*selected main tab style */
position: relative;
top: 1px;
}

.shadetabs li a.selected{ /*selected main tab style */
background:#ADCBE7;
color: #000000;
border-bottom-color: #81A2C4;
}

.shadetabs li a.selected:hover{ /*selected main tab style */
text-decoration: none;
}

.tabcontent{
display:none;
}

@media print {
.tabcontent {
display:block !important;
}
}

I would rather suggest you to use the Euan T's plugin for tabs, it makes the edits easier if you're newbie with CSS.

PM me if you changed to it, and I'll help you with the tabs, I'm too lazy to read the CSS you just posted.

This was my first choice but when I try to access the settings it gives me this error: /home/a3159387/public_html/inc/languages/english/admin/mytabs.lang.php does not exist

I just suggest to use that plugin, it's even unnecessary to use a plugin, you can do it with JavaScript.

You mean deleting all the plugins folders manually and then re-add them?
