My old Deathstalker Ultimate finally gave up last night after being with me for 5 years... Feelsbadman
Currently using an old dell keyboard I had lying around and I wanna break it over my knee.

Tell me about your current keyboard, since I'm in the looks for a new one. Preferably a mechanical one.
- What's good about your keyboard?
- What's bad about it?
- How long have you used it?
- What do you like about it?
- How much did you pay for it?

Don't worry about my personal picks, I wanna know why you like yours.

Accordion to a recent survey, replacing words with the names of musical instruments in a sentence, often goes undetected.

Razer Ornata Chroma

Good: pretty lights, nice wrist rest and very nice/clean design
Bad: sticky keys, they also lose the click sound after a while :c
How long: about 5 months now
Cost: 109 Euros

Conclusion: if you have a limited budget I'd buy this keyboard, but if you have another 60 Euros/Dollars laying around, I recommend buying the Razer Blackwidow V2 cuz it's bacically an upgraded version of the Ornata.

Was actually looking into the Blackwidow V2. Sounds a bit sketchy thoughwith the switches losingtheir click.. I've read about the same thing happening with the V1 (or first version) and the tournament X, any idea if the v2 has the same issue? :/

I'm a newbie when it comes to mechanical keyboards. I'veused the samemembrane keyboard for the last 5 years now, but I'vetried a buddy's Corsair keyboard with blue switches (IIRC) and I liked the feel of that.

Oh, well I don't own a Blackwidow so I couldn't tell =/

I do think you can fix problems with mechanical keys easier than with mecha-membrane ones (Ornata), I can't even get the keycap off of my keyboard (I'm probably just stupid but it doesn't seem to come off so I can't clean or try to fix it).
I also just read some threads about if the Blackwidow V2 has any problems with the click sounds but I can't find anything so I guess the V2 doesn't have that problem but I'm not sure.

EDIT: just found a vid on YT explaining how to get the sound back so I'm trying that now. (the guy in the video took the keycap off ;-Wink
EDIT 2: 5 mins later now, I broke my keyboard ;---;

Mine is the steelseries Apex m500. I like the sound it makes when I click the keys, I hate that it only has blue light. I've had it for more than a year now and I got it for free.
