The International 2018 - Main Event. Are you tuned in?

The International. Known to esports fans and also to dota players as the biggest and most prestigious Esports event every year based on stats andin my own honest opinion is currently going on atRogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada. Main Event is already here and this is the 3rd day of the main event. The best DOTA2 teams all over the world are competing for ashot of immortality in the ranks of the greatest players in the game's history. From North America, South America, Europe, CIS, China and even to the South East Asia Region, each and every team and giving their all just to have a crack of the aegis. But there is more than meets the eye for this event.

Well, to those who are a big fan of the game and also plays it, one of the driving force for teams all over the world wants to win it is the huge cash price. The current price pool is currently over $25 Million, wherein the champion will take home a guaranteed 10M. Come to think of it,it came a long long way since the first TI that also made history as the first esports event that has a price of 1 Million USD for the champion (which was won by Natus Vincere). There were a lot of changes indeed.

So since all the qualifiers and group stages are done. Main EventDay 4 is here. A lot of huge upsets and comebacks happened. My favorite was already eliminated on the first round of the lower bracket but the show is still on. There is a tradition or curse in TI that the Aegis goes to West then East alternately every year. Since the remaining teams from the East are Chinese teams, I guess they will bring back home the aegis this year.

But seriously. I was rooting for a South East Asian team to take it home. So sad that all of them are already eliminated on the first 3 days of the event. We'll see though who will reign supreme and win it all.

I'm itching to play some dotes though. Anyone here wants to party in game?
