I still don't understand how evolution made having an egg hatch take more care. You think it would be the other way right? Usually when there is something that is not beneficial to the species' life it ends up going away. Yet chickens after a certain period of time would start to take care of their eggs even though somehow they were perfectly fine on their own before? That doesn't make sense to me.
Also where TF did the egg come from did it just materialize in thin air?
