The reason behind GMOD's fun

I am compIeteIy new to Garry's mod and some of my paIs have been suggesting that I try it out.. sooo is it fun or not? If yes, why? or if not, why not?

When people play together and get a joint gaming experience, this betrays a certain charm and makes the game more interesting. If you play alone, you are unlikely to get any kind of fun.

It is indeed fun with a lot of different gamemodes you can play with your friends.
