Ik this is really controversial but java is the only thing that's separating every minecraft version from being one and tbh java is an old and outdated language that wasnt meant to be for games anyways so I think they should just let the java edition go and everyone including modders and such should focus on making stuff for bedrock, because there is really no point in having two versions of minecraft.

That's simply not true. In fact, Java is a decade newerthan C++, which is the language Bedrock is written in. Even if you want to compare latest stable release dates instead of when it was first created, Java still comes out on top: Java SE 14 came out 32 days ago. C++17 came out at the end of 2017.

I mean as long as they make everything java work on bedrock that would be ideal, bedrock gets better performance so it would be nice.
