This "15 posts" thing isn't a good idea

People want to download the file, not to integrate the community
Basically you are forcing people to spam 15 posts, download their file and then leave forever the forum, it's dumb

Mm no, we're actually telling you NOT to spam 15 posts, you get credits from simply replying, people have questions, you answer them, you start topics, you act as a member of the community instead of just grabbing free shit and leaving.

The entire point is that this is a forum and this community and for you to be allowed to take something out of it you have to put something in.

Which I mean, I think a lot of people here would do it voluntarily and don't care about credits, hence why there are people with 1000+ credits.

the 15 post count rule is to stop anyone that found the site just for a file it makes you put in some time to getting the file you want.
the fact that you say 15 posts is the reason people leave if we didn't have that limit they'd come get their file instantly and guess what FUCKING LEAVE.

the whole point of that 15 post count is there is to separate the leechers from the active users from the people that just want the file and people that enjoy the forum.

I do think that 15 posts requirement is good. By the time you get 15 posts, you will have some idea of the community, you can also make a decision based on time you spend here. If a user likes the comminity he will stay and vice versa.

On the other hand if there was no requirements, people will simply download the file the leave. The community suffers in this way.

Every community has its rules. Members should follow them.

Personally I think the rule is great! It prevents leaching and unwanted users from taking shit

I think it is a good thing because by that the forum is almost free from leechers
