Thoughts on Rust?

I've been playing Rust for years now with over 1700 hours, personally I still enjoy the game but it has been going downhill with some of the most recent major updates. It just doesn't have that spark like it used to, the best way to describe it is with this Reddit post.

I have played it for a long time but after a time the game gets so boring because of the toxic community.

I agree that it's not the same anymore, especially after adding helicopter attacks, just felt weird. I used to like it but now I just get bored within the first 15 minutes.

It was fun at first but i got really bored of it after a while

I'm still playing it, I'm having fun always when i'm playing with my friends.
Get some friends -> play Rust, it's kinda hard if you play solo.

Im having issues sadly where i cannot run the game... its crashing upon map load

I think it's cool, but the community makes me not want to play it really. I can't handle games with high toxicity.

I haven't played it much but from what I played I enjoyed it. It's unfortunate that the developer basically gave up on it.

I stopped playing it. I want to get back into it but I dont wanna get fucked by zergs.
