A long time ago in a galaxy far far away.

There once was a land where leechescouldn't just spam 15 posts, Shitpost to 15, Copy paste posts. And unlock content, And fly fly away like a birdie.

Nay, They had to go through the law, And the law won. like i dunno 80% of the time....

I'm suggesting to Re-Add Time requirement's to unlock content. Before I think it was something like 5 hours. We just need some sort of extrarequirement to help prevent leeches. No, it wouldn't stop leechesfrom spamming or whatever the hell they're doing.

But at least it will give staff team to be able to punish them. And prevent them from leeching and getting what they want. Staff can't always handle things right away. This would help give them a bit more time to get rid of leeches, And do it before they get their hands on whatever it is they're after.

I have many HUGE people backing me. Here are some of them.

"I'm sick and tired of hearing about damn leeches" - Bernie Sanders

"I'm calling for a total and complete shutdown of all leeches" - Donald Trump

And many others...

I am pretty sure that for forums and people it's leechers and leeches is
just the animal.

Leaving my grammar nazi side apart I want to say that I back you up too.
It is quite annoying to see all the feed full of people copy+pasting "thx 4
sharing".

I suggest adding a time requirement for posting in leaks too, there is no
point in letting them post spam in the leaks section as this forum works
with credits and not with the "Post to download" system.

Another idea that comes to my mind is adding a "Anti spam bot" or
something similar. When someone posts certain words the posts won't
be published.

I would love seeing what staff thinks of these ideas.
Cheers.

It was removed for a good reason, we were lacking activity big time. No activity means less unique users will sign up and activity dies even more. We had to do something, we didn't have a lot of choices.

but fady they just sign up and get banned!! - Yes, but they still sign up and create unique traffic, boosting the SEO ranking. Then people who aren't leechers can find us more easily.

I doubt anyone wants an inactive NBB with no people signing up.

Nor do I think that most of you have put any effort into making new people signing up.

So unless you have an idea to fix that issue, we can't put a time limit.

While I agree with that, I do think that the time limit should be put in place but not 5 hours long.

A time limit like an hour is long enough to not feel like an eternity and it gives new users enough time to adjust.

What about a filter as I said or adding time requirement to post in the leak section?
This way they would sign up creating unique traffic as you said but not spamming
the forum with useless posts.

Maybe just 30 min or so would be enough. A HQ member usually lurks a bit,
introduces himself, maybe posts a bit in the lounge and if they really want to stay
in the forum 30 min won't be a hard requirement to achieve.

I don't think leechers would wait that long.

It was reduced to a few hours before, but Aoki removed it completely later on instead.
Not sure about the time limit, and I doubt it'll change much. They'll just wait their 30 mins and start leeching.

Idk what you're talking about...
When I was searching for things and found this site it was #2 in the search rankings. I think this drives people away from replying to posts since they fill up the latest activity.

There is no way to get rid of these people. But the amount lately has been staggering.

You guys know better than me. But that's my view.
