Tips For Opening Gmod Server

these are some nice tips for people that want to create their own gmod server

A tip I like to say is to gather friends to help create your server, you can't do everything yourself. It also helps the server with having people on the server as it makes it appear more populated people are sceptical to join dead servers.
You can find a lot of good videos on youtube as well to help with basic lua coding and bits to get your server started.
Also don't get yourself into any mad subscriptions and look at all host options to find the best for price

Thats some pretty good tips you got there, might have to borrow some for myself.

You should be learn lua or you should have a developer for your server especially You should have a good staff team with dycpline.

Well for good Gmod server you need to get server with good traffic and connection minimum 500mbit or 1gbit.
I used Intel XEON E5 16GB RAM 1TB SSD and the server run perfectly

So I am currently creating a GMOD Server for me and my friends and I am not happy with the interface the hoster is providing, is this also an option to make my life easier or what does it do? I don't understand what you mean with "open".

Lit, ik that SRCDS is a good way to run a server for free but a dedicated host is much better for running a good server and allows people to develop it.

Yea dedicated host is much better than VPS but dedicated host is Really Expensive for newbie or small community VPS is still a good choice doe

I've been wanting to start a gmod servr for quite some time now, thanks for providing this piece of information
