Tips for beginner Mids?

Maybe try looking at tutorial and picking dutiable characters for mid.

Learn to farm. PLay OP mid champion and have fun till Platinum. Then goes strategy.

Check op gg for optimal builds and make sure to watch some replays of pro players, try to understand their moves and decisions. You can find such content on youtube as well, where somebody goes over the replay and outlines key points

always reprot missing hero to your team. and frequently roam top or bot

Look up builds on Mobafire for the champion you're playing. I'd recommend Annie or Malzahar. Focus on minions for now. Once you've practiced a bit i'd say after you manage to average at 65-80 cs at 10 minutes try using the map more and buy some vision wards (Theese will be very useful once you get the basics down)

Also a good tip is to just start the game out by doing /mute all since this game isn't very noob friendly, or just friendly in general.

I think it's not a bad idea. I didn't really see the point in the change because it was kinda useless.
Although the game is hella toxic, it's still pretty fun. Take your last hits, and avoid the enemy jungle and you will be alright.

Map awareness is very key, honestly it's the most vital thing
