Any1 here read and seen the Tokyo Ghoul Manga & Anime?
I have heard that they are quite similar altho I have also heard that the Manga is better!

Would you say it's worth checking out the manga if I have already seen the Anime? ( Please only answer if you have seen / read both )

& I know they have gotten further in the manga so far than in the anime.

Yes. You should read it. Imo TG Manga is way better than anime. S1 is fine, "root a" is meh and "re" looks like a meh as well.

If you have time. Read it from the beginning. You'll know why the Manga is way better.

Just been confused reading people saying the manga is so much better all the time while they're also saying it's pretty much the same.

That statement is completely false. The manga is more dialog based and builds up the tension while the anime is all just action action action which leads people to be confused.
