Took a break from Minecraft, confused with new features

Just started to get back into Minecraft after a break, who else is confused about a lot of the new mechanics?

Eh, the new mechanics are easy once you get used to them!

they were pretty weird when i first came back but i got used to it shield was the hardest to get used to tho imo and second hand in general
