Top addons for a DarkRP server?

Hi, I'm hosting a small server for darkrp (not public just have a group of friends for a private server) what are some of the best DarkRP addons for that context?

Link doesnt work but I think I can assume... lol. Sadly dont want to clutter it with unnecessary stuff

Already made one lol. Once again its just a small thing I dont plan to host public so its not really cancer

VCMod, I'm sure, every server that has a cars have to have it!

1-VCmod.
2- bLogs
3-SAM or ServerGuard admin mod.
4-A private faction or gang addon (Brick's Gangs or Voidfactions are best for now).
5-UI modifiers ( hud scoreboard loading screen etc etc but i don't suggest using way too different designs so the best opt would be buying an UI Bundle).
6-sKeypads or Superior Keypads.
7-A good and upgradeable printer addon with Anti-AFK printing blocker. (For example some printers heat and explode and only way to prevent this is cooling them manually after they heat in every x time).
8-Drug making (i definitely suggest using an addon with drugs which give you special boosts like blue's pharmaceuticals and/or zmethlab etc)
9-A Bitcoin Mining addon (for legally making money but it should give lower money than printing).
10-Mining and Woodcutting addons (i recommend Brick's Essentials) for crafting materials and jobs for people who don't want any risks or who are new to darkrp but still want to gain some money.
11-A good Weapon Pack (I suggest CW 2.0 and using only a single pack so people won't use the best one and your weapons will look in harmony ).
12-Realistic Properties or gHomes Eliminates door owning conflicts between users.
13-An inventory system (I suggest Brick's Essentials system).
14-Better default SWEPs addon(s) (For battering ram,keys,handcuffs weapon detector,medkit etc etc.I suggest Brick's Enhanced SWEPs. for this).
15-Health and Armor NPCs. (You can use the Vending Machines addon too but i don't know any food and drink SWEPs which are not exploitable).
16-Health and Armor Chargers. (These are like printers but they give you health and armor but make sure that they give you health and armor in a very slow rate so they won't be abused in a raid).
17-Law enforcement SWEPs like Taser,Ballistic Vests,Ballistic Shields.
18-dRadio for group communication. (For almost every organization from Police to Gangs).
19-A good Mayoral system (I suggest Slawer's Mayor addon.)
20-A good Police system (I suggest pMod or Realistic Police Both of these are literally all-in-one addons because they contain many content from jailing-bailing system,cctv cams to license plates,criminal records,fine system etc etc.)
21-A good Mayor voting addon (I suggest Mayor Voting System or Realistic Elections).
22-Robbable shit like Bank Vault,PD Armory,Mayoral Funds,Jewelry etc etc. So people can gain illegal money without the risk of gang raids. (The only risk is Law enforcement. And don't forget to make these robbable only when there are at least x number of users with Law enforcement jobs in the server so players can't abuse them.)
23-A good Prop Protection System (so people can't Prop Kill,Prop Surf and lag the server)
24-A drive-by shooting addon (VCMod and Novacars has already a support for this but use it if you don't own these. (Free on Steam Workshop)
25-A good vehicle pack with a base. (I don't suggest using more than one base because it won't look aesthetically good and people will use the best one. I definitely suggest Simfphys if you don't have VCmod.
26-An Anti-NLR addon (Person either dies when he enters the NLR Zone or literally can't enter the zone. I suggest an addon which blocks reconnection exploit so people can't simply reset their NLR Timer with a reconnection).
27-Anti Cheat Addon(s). (It's not an anti cheat but i recommend getting a screengrabber too)
28-Anti Exploit and Crash addon(s).
29-Crafting System (Unique weapons,weapon attachments,crate keys if you have a case/crate opening addon,ballistic vests etc. can be crafted with the materials that people gain with woodcutting and mining).
30-A Car Dealer addon if you aren't using VCMod.
31-Prometheus if you're selling paid shit.
32-Playermodels for jobs.
33-A Chatbox addon with support of private group chats and emotes. (I definitely recommend Atlas Chat).
34-Advanced Duplicator 2.
35-Textscreens and/or LED Screens.
36-Fading doors.
37-A detector system for Law enforcement jobs so they can search bases for illegal entities like printers and drug labs and find proof for illegal activity and then create search and arrest warrants for property owner(s). I recommend SH Detector
38-Base building helper tools like precision,stacker,smartsnap,RT camera tools.
39-PermaProps
40-A good reporting system (Admin mods' default ones are trash imo)
41-A player warning system (I recommend awarn3)
42-Automatic unstucking system for players getting stuck inside other entities or players.
43-Leveling System so your players can have something to grind for other than money. (You can limit almost every shit including choosing jobs of your choice with a minimum level requirement and reward your players when they level up. (I recommend Brick's Essential's or vrondakis' leveling system)
44-A zone editor addon with prop spawn restriction system so players can't spawn props in places where they shouldn't spawn like car roads,building entrances etc.



Optional but really suggested ones:

1-Playable instruments like piano,synthesizer etc so your players can have more fun and you can make a job which players can tip others (Musician jobs).
2-An ATM System (I suggest Glorified Banking)
3-In-Game Job,Weapon creator/editors like Dconfig ezjobs xConfig Dweapons etc so they will make your life way easier.
4-Optimization addons like bucket's optimizations,widgets disabler if lag is a trouble.
5-Better red errors and missing textures (I suggest LeySexyErrors).
6-A phone and/or smartwatch system (I recommend Gsmartwatch and Mcphone).
7-A better hitman system (Slawer's hitman is the best i've seen).
8-Gambling system(s) (I suggest mCasino for gambling between players and Coinpusher for a solo way).
9-Chess and Checkers (A really good addon with an elo system).
10-Arcade Machines 2 (You can add a game of your choice too).
11-A better thirdperson addon.
12-Sit anywhere with being able to damage seated players.
13-Prop counter if your hud doesn't have it.
14-An automatic wanted system so when a player attacks or kills someone who has a law enforcement job he will automatically become wanted.
15-Case opening system for rare things like CSGO Knives,Weapon Attachments,Weapon Skins (EasySkins) or Boosters. (I don't suggest selling or even using unrealistic playermodels or physical accessories because it eliminates the immersion which darkrp offers).
16-Easyskins for weapon skins.
17-TitleStore for name titles.
18-Character Clothes (Players and admins can use every text and photo uploaded to imgur to print on their shirts.)
19-Zero's Advertkit (Billboard system for players and admins. Every photo uploaded to imgur can be used)
20-More Materials
21-911 Emergency Response v2 if your server is populous with a really big map.
22-Achievements/Missions with rewards.
23-Rewards for Joining Steam Group,Discord Server,Nitro boosting server if you're going to open these for your server.
24-A weapon selector addon since none of the huds i saw change the original one. (I suggest iconic weapon selector)
25-Must be job sweps like suicide bomb for terrorists,Climb Swep for thiefs,Pro Keypad Cracker and Lockpick for VIP's or some roles.


These are nothing other than my opinions so im not saying these addons are ''unarguably'' best. So i don't want to argue about these addons' importancy with anyone. And remember that i wrote these addons for original DarkRP. The pure one. If you want to open a DarkRP Derived Gamemode like SWRP,HogwartsRP,MilitaryRP then some of these addons may not be for you. (Still, most of them are must be's for any rp gamemode) and you will need more addons like voidfactions, (for static factions like sith/jedi,us army/russian army,Hogwarts houses etc) A character creation system like voidchar (For having the ability to create multiple accounts so you can join other factions with different chars so you won't have to leave your faction just because you only have a single character).


My personal suggestions for a DarkRP server.

1-Make Printers and BTC Miners stay in the server for x hours after you quit. It makes these systems more realistic and plus raiding bases would have a purpose and people would care more about their printers/miners. (Before you say ''But they can shoot and blast their own printers when someone enters the base to raid'' Well that's a nope because there is a chance of destroying precious fully upgraded printers/miners for nothing. Because you can't know if you can successfully defend your base or not. So the money that you have played for many hours to gain would be wasted in vain. And plus there are shipment/printer systems with configurable spawning cooldown after getting destroyed so destroying them won't help. And the owner can increase printer/miner health so destroying everything would take minutes and raiders can crack your two fading doors in a minute at max and kill you while you're trying to destroy your printers/miners. Law enforcement would do that even quicker since they can ram fading doors and open them in a second. So there are no loopholes.

2-Don't create many unneccessary jobs with no point like Mayor's daughter mayor's daughters' cousin etc etc. I think you get the point. Remember people only choose jobs which make sense. It would only create confusion in new players and use more storage in your server.

3-Don't add unneccessary ways of gaining money like lawnmowing fishing blah blah. People will only do the shit which gives them most money with the minimal risk. If your most paying illegal job is printing and your legal job is BTC Mining then people won't do anything other than these two. Therefore your every other job becomes obsolete. If you have a crowded server then you may be thinking of limiting max users who can choose jobs which can print and mine. But this won't help and in fact may harm your playerbase because it will confuse new players more and more with each and every addon and this will result in losing new players. But this is not the only problem many people would quit the server when they see jobs that gain the most money are full. Extended joining time especially in the first join would result in losing potential longtime players too. And i'm not even talking about their contribution to lag and your total file size.


4-Disallow jobs to do more than one thing to gain money. For example if a drug dealer has access to both drug making items and printers then everyone would choose this job because the most profitable job would be the drug dealer. Or if a gangster has access to both printers and btc miners then btc miner job would be obsolete. I think you got the point.

5-Use a map which is compatible with your playercount. For example if you have a populous server then use a big map like cities. If your server is neither crowded nor empty then use a medium sized map. If your server is almost empty then i suggest using small maps. If you use a small map in a crowded server people will complain about issues like finding empty places,traffic etc etc. Or in the other scenario where you use a big map in a server with 10-20 players in it's peak would result in a less chance of player interaction so it would be harder for your players to encounter others and your server would look emptier than it's real playercount because of this. And of course this will result in players getting bored and leaving your server permanently.

6-Balance ALL the weapons so people won't use only some particular ones in their category. And don't forget to balance rifles for middle,snipers for long,shotguns for close distance so people won't use PSG,Dragunov for close distance because of their low recoil and high damage with semi serious firing. And LMG's like PKM should be best for multiple enemies when you're outnumbered.

7-I don't suggest making your server p2w since i really hate every p2w shit on earth and don't play any single one of them but if you really want to give your donators some shit other than unique tags,queue priority,unique models or weapon skins etc etc. then please don't make them really overpowered compared to users who aren't VIP. If you make VIP's overpowered then this will result in many of your f2p players quit your server permanently. (I know because i am one of them).

8-Lastly and most importantly a happy playerbase means players bringing their friends to your server and recommending it to the people. So think of your server not as an admin but as a user. Listen to their suggestions. Ask them what they like and don't like. What should you do to make your server even better? Ask these questions to both your players and yourself to get better and better. If you're a person who simply wants players to enjoy playing on your server rather than $$$. Then you can 99% do it. Just don't see your users as a way of income.

depends what type of DarkRP you are wanting to run. But please dont run a DarkRP Gmodstore RP where everything is jhust bought from gmodstore.
