To add or edit your custom substition, log in to your IP.Board Admin CP and visit the System tab -> Plugins. Click on Edit (image of a pencil in this plugin row) and configure the settings as you wish. Add your custom substitution as shown in the example. IMPORTANT: One line for each substitution.
It will have no impact on your existing URLs. You can test the plugin by installing and creating a new topic or article or something else that contains special chars in the title. Old entries should be resaved, just open the entry and save without changes to get new URL for the entry. You are not going to get any 404 errors after installing. No broken links. You are not going to get any broken links when you uninstall.
