Personally I am a conservative. I dont agree with all of the things Donald Trump says and does. But why do so many democrats not even give President Trump the chance to try to make this country great again? Would really love to hear from both sides of the political spectrum.

Keep in mind, I'm not speaking for anybody out there. This is my personal opinion.
How I see it is that some people *were* waiting it out to see how Trump was "going to make the country great again". Especially those who didn't vote at all, or voted for him because "Trump is the lesser of two evils."
However, event after event such as the tax reform, the attack on DACA and Net Neutrality, the pullout from the Paris Climate Accord, silence from the GOP about mass shootings, and now the separation of children at the border, some people don't want to give Trump the chance to do whatever he's doing since most of what he's done so far isn't considered great....
Personally, I don't even think he's a good role model for those with conservative values...I'm pretty sure even normal conservatives don't want to be grouped up with those who commit hate crimes and call themselves religious conservatives while doing so.
Just my opinions though. Not here to debate or anything.
The democrats just hate Donald Trump with all their hearts because his whole shtick was to not conform to the regular political expectations. During his campaign he was always making controversial statements strongly and he was not apologising for them, which resonated with a lot of right wingers who felt that their ideas were no longer allowed a platform. However, this of course had the opposite effect on left wingers and the country has gotten more and more polarised since.
I personally think that Trump has been giving up too much ground to the democrats during his presidency in the hopes that this will appease more democrat voters, but he doesn't realise that the democrats will keep asking for more and more and will still hate him even when he makes compromises. An example of this is the recent executive order that Trump signed to end the migrant family separation at the borders. Family separation happens for a perfectly good reason at the border and it keeps children safe by removing them from potential dangerous jail/prison environments. Trump could have easily made an argument against the democrats on this issue but decided to concede instead, and if you read recent articles on the matter, they are still nowhere near happy. He gained no voters from this move but further upset his base of supporters who expected him to stay strong on issues like this, and this case is just one of many examples.
The clear cut finality of it all is Rump is a horribly racist self serving joke of an excuse for a man who even when still running for the presidency was constantly backpedaling his own statements mid interview. We never thought someone could elect a person less qualified than Bush but apparently people were just too damn determined to show how stupid they can truly be.

I'm a Democrat and I personally have no problem with him.
Although I am not conservative, but while we talk about the president Trump, I will admire his steps against terrorism and hedonist. That's very awesome.

As a conservative, I'm horribly disappointed in Trump, some of his actions would have led him down the road to becoming one of the greatest leaders of our generation, while the vast majority have damaged relations with close allies and are slowly working to undermine the economy. Not to mention surrounding himself with the most corrupt people in America...
