[Tutorial] HOW TO EDIT REAL RECEIPTS THE EASY WAY

With trial & error you're going to be able to make much better receipts
than what i'm going to show you, but this is just an example of what can be done.


1.First and foremost, you're going to need a version of Photoshop.
I used CC 2021 but others afaik have the same tools as the ones i used in this tutorial.

2.Go on this website https://expensesreceipt.com/ OR use another template if you have one. There's probably more websites like these out there
but i just happened to stumble across this one recently.

3.Create your receipt by selecting the appropriate template that suits / think suits your needs



4. Great! You got your receipt now. You can either use this for your future SE or try to make it look even more real & legit so your SE can have a higher chance of success.

PHOTOSHOP PART


1. Get on google and look for a receipt picture, shouldn't be that hard to find one.
2. Get in Photoshop and in the top left press File > Open > Select the image that you've just downloaded



3. Once you've inserted your receipt picture, you're going to want to use the heal tool on the receipt text to make it dissapear.



TIP: You can also use the select tool to select the whole receipt and do this on the whole surface of it.

4. If you did everything correctly you should (in theory) end with something like this:



5. We're now going to insert the digital receipt we've created earlier on that sketchy website by dragging it inside of photoshop.

6. Once you added the receipt you're going to press CTRL + T to transform & resize it over the edited real one, after you've done that
it should look something like this:



7. Now comes the fun part :jew: You're going to change the layer style of it so we completely remove the white from the digital receipt.



If you've done everything correctly until now you should be presented with this:



If you want to do more than this, go ahead. Add effects, noise, displacement maps, whatever u may think of.
