Both, if you want to grow you'd have to post on both platforms. Also don't make the mistake to go partners with twitch, they own you and won't allow you to post on different platforms.

Twitch is oversatured, you can't just go in and try to create content, you need to bring people across plateform to your twitch channel or youtube, and by that you need to be on Instagram, X, and tiktok this is the best way to convert your audience to follow you on twitch

Youtube for live, being able to pause live and keep watching where you paused is my main reasoning.

in terms of finding streamers obviously twitch but if it’s just videos in general it’s definitely youtube but if u wanna watch highlights from ur favourite streamers (if they have a highlight youtube channel for their streaming account) then you can check on youtube as well

Has to be Youtube, because it has both live streaming and regular video content, as well as now short form content. Twitch just has its culture (chat monkaS, Kreygasm etc) and a massive lead in IRL.
