It's RIP. Even if Threads takes the lead and we all forget about X (formerly known as Twitter) I just don't see it having the same "it" factor. Twitter now has an "ick" factor and to copy and paste that into a new app brings the same. We need something innovative, new

Twitter isn’t dead, many still post about news, topics, etc. And all these posts be trending too. So I don’t think it fell off imo

I don’t think threads has really replaced it. Threads just doesn’t have the same vibe and seems way too clinical and sanitized. Threads. It feels like a bunch of robots talking, rather than real humans.

What is going to take its place? Never met a single person that uses threads
