Udemy Courses, are they worth it?

Udemy can allow you to have bases and you to consolidate them and improve yourself by training. Only if you need it

if you get a bundle for a good price, some education is always better than none...can find a lot of disscount codes around. Also depends on your subject and goal. Some proper companies have their classes there

I have several Udemy courses. They are excellent, at least the ones I bought, since many are an illusion of teaching. For the price of the courses, they are more to give a basis of how to proceed and delve deeper into a certain subject.

I have bought around ten courses from Udemy and I must say some of them are pretty good made and they taught me a lot of useful stuff. You just gotta find the right courses tho. Some of them are pure garbage and aren't worth the money. And as you said, they're good for personal education but I don't really think they're for getting yourself a job, maybe freelancing?

I guess it also depends on your time frame for leaning something. If you need a quick refresher then something like Udemy might do the trick if its got some quality. Although I've been burned by that in the past thinking just to get a high scoring course only to find out they've been fiverred out. The course was one big sales pitch to buy their next big product if you want to make some big money. Well actually, to tell the truth, I applied for the refund and got it back, but kinda waste of time, so you can't just go on "high" reviews.

if I did it all over, I'd just buy one course at a time during their specials and work my way through. Although competition from other sources are available, you might not want to spend time jumping from one site to another. Just my 2 cents

I've never used udemy before. I have 2 Certified Associate adobe cerifications, one for photoshop and one for illustrator. Thing is, it's pretty useful when finding an entry level graphic design job because it's directly from Adobe. However, you gain no real world knowledge from the training, its super garbo. You can learn more from youtube than adobe themselves oof.

I can only agree to you guys. I think that Udemy is good to some extent because you can learn basics within a topic
