I'm looking for some information about upgrading my Asus ROG Strix (Model - G531GT) laptop. I want to upgrade my screen from 60hz to 120hz, if possible as well as, upgrading my graphics card. I have a Nvidia Geforce GTX 1650 but want something better. Are these upgrades possible to do on a laptop? Thanks in advance for replies.

Usually, laptops are non-costumizable.
The way you buy them, you are supposed to have forever.

However, you are able to open them up and gut them,so that you can modify them.In such a case, you lose the insurance instantly and you risk compatibility issues.
Laptops are usually take it or leave it.

Moreover, the parts for laptop are much more expensive and not that efficient in comparisson to the PC parts.
You should consider chipping in an extra buck to make a better PC and keep the laptop as is,in my opinion.

P.S:I think upgrading a laptop screen is kinda impossible and not worth it.
