Description:

Sends a Conversation when a member does a User Upgrade.

Features:

Message can use three variables for personalization, {username}, {board_title} and {upgrade_title}.

Installation:

1. Download userupgradeconversation_v1.6.zip and unzip it.
   
2. Upload the Andy folder to your server. The correct location will be library/Andy.
   
3. From your Admin Control Panel, go to the "Install Add-on" page.
   
4. Upload the addon-UserUpgradeConversation_v1.6.xml file.
   
5. Click the Install Add-on button.
   

How this add-on works:

Every 10 minutes a Cron Entry will run and send Conversations(s) to any member who has upgraded.

Questions and Answers:

Q: Will a Conversation be sent to the admin for testing?
A: No. The sender of a Conversation cannot also be the recipient, in other words one cannot send a Conversation to themselves.

Q: Can the admin manually upgrade a user and will there be a Conversation sent?
A: Yes. A Cron runs every 10 minutes and will send Conversations. You cannot manually run the Cron because the code is time based.
