Okay, I came up with this size and it seems to fit very well.

I was planning on adding more to the userbar but as I said it is my first and I do want to learn from the posts in this thread so thank you for your post. I am also planning on making a 'flat' design to my next userbar. This was just something I did out of curiosityon how they worked and in no mean trying to get it to work for an actual usergroup.
