#1 I have brought this issue up, but I could never really prove it.
The userbars have a background colored layer and are not transparent
which is really ugly and low quality. Reason being is because...
Here is the userbar itself without hue change...
You can CLEARLY see the color difference in the background of the userbar and the background of the website.
Here is the userbar with the hue change (0% saturation, 1 degrees)to prove that it has a background color layer...
Example of a Transparent UB
Here is the Anime usergroup userbar which is a good example of a transparent userbar.
notice how the background blends with the website, there is no colored background layer.
Here is the userbar with the hue change (0% saturation, 1 degrees)to prove that it is transparent...
See how good this looks? No background layer to ruin the userbar. It keeps it clean and is really HQ.
Either way, there are a lot of ways to go about this. You can disable the user of the black color in
the hue settings by getting rid of the saturation levels and just keeping the degree/color rotation or you
can fix the userbars which if I get free time, I will be glad to attempt to do.
Either way, that is all.

which is really ugly and low quality. Reason being is because...
- The background color of the ub doesn't even match the background color of the background.
So it sticks out like a sore thumb.
- If I go to my userbar and change the hue saturation to 0% and the rotation to 1 degrees, then it turns every color
in the image to black. EVERY COLOR. So leaving that background color layer ruins it.

#2 I want to think part of the reason the backgrounds aren't transparent is to make it harder to leech them. If you leech specific userbars from the forum then it'll have a background on it which will make them look dumb, but I'm probably wrong.

That's understandable, but I wanted to point out the issue I saw. I gave two different ways of solving the issue though.
You can edit the backgrounds of the userbar, make them transparent, or you can remove the option of saturation and leave it at 100%
and only allow the editing of the degree/color of the hue.

I mean like obviously it's a given, but in the first place the userbars look fine on the forum unless you mess with said levels. Reason being is that userbars aren't supposed to be tampered with in this sense due to the backgrounds, but regardless it wouldn't be hard to remove backgrounds from userbars such as the Writers, Supreme, and so on.

Point being is that it is very distracting, and you're right it would look find if you didn't mess with said levels.
So that is why I am saying you can also remove the saturation percentage option so that won't happen, and leave the degree/color
option to select the color of the hue for the userbar.

If you could find me all of the userbars that have a background on them, I'll remove them the best I can then send them to Aoki or Sozin.

Just ask Sozin when he gets on for the userbar files.
