But that is not the point, think of it like going to bar, you expect that you will spend X amount of money on it. But you don't care because you will have fun, that is how this works too. You expect that you will spend lets say 20$ (you might even win) and you have fun with the adrenaline rush of gambling.

there are a lot of ways you can get the same adren rush without resorting to gambling though
