I've only used free VPNs as I do not need to use a VPN 24/7, Windscribe offers 15 GB per month which is enough for me. ProtonVPN is also a good alternative. I don't trust any other free VPNs as they sell user data.

Mullvad is good, it's one of the most private I've found. You can pay by mailing money so a credit card isn't associated with your account.

NORDVPN is great value, they have special discounts on all of the time so keep your eye out for those.

I use Mullvad. I used to use Nord but their speeds suck. The speeds with Mullvad are 2 to 3 times faster.

I heard many good things about Express VPN and its speed. I myself use FastestVPN because I got a lifetime deal on it.

ProtonVpn has been my go to. 1 account free with fast connections.

Are any of the free ones actually useful? Or do they just sell your data?
