Do you guys think that valve will create hl3? because valve is slowly dying(my opinion)

No way valve is dying. They're just not bothered with creating new games, because games like CS:GO and TF2 create so much profit from the community market alone, and selling keys. They make so much money just by existing. And also they get a cut from every game copy that gets sold. So no, valve will probably not make a hl3, as sad as it sounds.

I doubt we'll be seeing a half-life 3 anytime soon.

Since Laidlaw leaked the old HL3 script I don't think we will ever get an HL3, maybe someday in the future but not anytime soon.

Valve isn't dying, they're busy busy swimming in the money they've made from their projects. They'll create new projects once their income starts to slow down from their older projects.

No valve will not make hl3 and no that's just valve dying for you. They've millions of players on their platform. But, they did say they're planning on making more games.

I highly doubt it. They've made enough money. No need to waste any developing another game.

Never.
Too many expectations, and if it's a huge flop, then the company is really going to pay for its mistakes.
It could be a huge failure, or it could be really good.
Even if the game is great but the story is sub-par then the community is going to hate it. Not to mention that the original story writer (or one of them) left Valve a long time ago

Valve wont make HL3 simply because its more efficient to have the community make an ip, and buy them out than do the development themselves. Think buying a house vs building, its much cheaper to modify an existing structure than build a new one.

Valve isn't dying but they won't make it because they're risking a huge profit loss and with the amount they're making right now, they don't need that income. HL3 is a risk for them, if it's trash they lose money.
