Valve will never make HL3 as they lost their main story writer for it. Valve has made millions off of steam there is no need for them to make another source game.

Half Life 3 will just never happen. If they really wanted to make HL3, it would already be released.

With the announcement of that new Dota Card game, I don't think HL3 isn't gonna be released for quite some time.
