I prefer Adobe Premier the most, though looking at its original price no one really wonders why its such a big and good tool.

So I have been wondering this a lot lately only because I am new to the video editing world, but what is your choice in video editing software? I am currently using Camtasia, but I have used Corel. Camtasia seemed to offer me a little bit more of what I was looking for then Corel. I have also heard that some people like Sony Vegas.

What's your guys opinion on editing softwares?

Hi, today theres so many options out there, (final cut pro, Avid Media Composer Sony Vegas)in my opinion the best software to use would be the one that will help you get the job done the quickest. I would suggest have a look at Black Magic Design Resolve ( Its free).

I used premier one time and it confused the hell out of me. Idk why.. LOL. Maybe I'll give it another go when I get the chance to download it again. Does it allow you to install template projects like for Youtube intros and endslates?

I've mainly been using sony vegas. It is good for general video editing, but it isn't nearly as good as after effects when it comes to special fx.

What's the difference between AE and Premier? Both Adobe I assume?

I've been comfortable with Movie Maker for a while lmao (don't use very complicated editing) but have been meaning to go on to Sony Vegas pro for a while.
